Boc, Derek John, of Boston, formerly of Duxbury, March 28, at the age of 29. Beloved son of John F. Boc and Elaine M. (Foley) Boc of Duxbury. Stepson of Terri Allen. Brother of Katherine Boc and her husband David Geder of Marshfield. Stepbrother of Samuel Miller of KY. Uncle of Dylan, Julia and Klara Geder. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and l2 cousins. Derek was born in Newton, graduated from Duxbury High School, Boston College and Boston College Law School. He was General Counsel for Meridian Investments Inc. Derek was a member of The Massachusetts Bar Association. A Funeral service will be held at The First Parish Church, Tremont St, Duxbury, on Friday April 2, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday at the Mac Donald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St. (Rte 139) Marshfield from 4-8 PM.
