Diane P. Peluso of Marshfield passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, with her family by her side, on February 28, 2025. Born in Boston to the late Anthony J. and Catherine P. (Hession) Peluso, Diane grew up in West Roxbury and summered in Manomet. Diane graduated from St. Claires School in Roslindale then attended Emmanuel College and Laselle college, where she earned her Master's degree. She worked at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and St. Margaret's Hospital and also conducted research studies for many pharmaceutical companies in the course of her career as a Histology Technician.

Diane made everyone feel loved and would talk to anyone like she had known them forever. She was her daughter's best friend, and they were inseparable. She cherished her grandchildren and great granddaughter, her family and her many friends, and enjoyed outings with her dear sister and best friend, Jane.

Affectionately known by most as "Lady Di", Diane loved to travel and spend time at her pool and was a lifetime member of Marshfield Yacht Club. She was a very caring person and gave generously to her church and to many charities.

Loving mother of Susan Cheverie and her partner Steve McNeill of Marshfield; dear sister of the late Jane Phillips; cherished grandmother of Anthony Cheverie (Erin) of Marshfield, Ashley Bethanis (Nikos) of Naples, Florida, and great-granddaughter Lily; dear friend of Katy Wallace and former spouse, the late George Reid; also survived by many Nieces and Nephews, Diane will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her and by her cat, Lola.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield.
