Buckley, Donald B., of Marshfield, passed away on February 25, 2016 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Noreen (Donahue) Buckley. Loving father of Kevin D. and Jennifer Buckley of Brockton and Sheila M. Hampton of Lynn. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Jason, Jonathan, Brianna, and Christopher. Dear brother of Patricia O'Shea of Billerica and Dorothy Ferrara of Winthrop.

Don was born in Quincy and was a 1958 graduate of North Quincy High School. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Don went on to work at Fiduciary Trust Company in Boston and retired after 43 years as an Operations Officer.

Don had fond memories of traveling to Bermuda, spending a day at the track and playing on the Knights of Columbus Softball team in Marshfield.

The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to Beacon Hospice of Plymouth and Celtic Angels of Weymouth for the care they provided to Don and Noreen in his time of need.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139) Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield.

Due to allergies, the family prefers that flowers be omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory can be made to the Marshfield Council on Aging, 230 Webster Street, Marshfield, MA 02050.
