ROCHE, Donald J., 81, of Marshfield, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2014. Beloved husband of Ann (Cleary) Roche for 58 years. He was the son of the late Patrick and Dorothy Roche of Cambridge and Marshfield. Dear and devoted father of Donald, Jr. and his wife Phyllis of Plainville, Mary Loftus and her partner John Keane of North Weymouth, the late Susanne, and Robert of Marshfield. Brother of the late John Roche. Loving grandfather of Katherine Loftus and her fiancé Joseph Talbot of Dorchester, Bridget Roche of Charlestown, Patrick Loftus and his wife Kristin of East Boston and Caroline Roche of Wrentham. Long time member of Marshfield Lions Club, Korean War Veterans Association, Chairman of the Marshfield DPW Commission. Co-Chair of the Building Committee for Marshfield Senior Center. Visiting hours will be from 4-8PM on Tuesday, October 14 at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 15 at 10AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 40 Canal Street, Green Harbor.
