Donald R. Trickler, Jr.

Donald Richard Trickler Jr., 68, of Marshfield, Massachusetts passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on January 13, 2026.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Joan (Harte) and Donald Trickler Sr.; and his sister Lori Trickler.

He is survived by his longtime companion Sharon MacDonald of Marshfield, MA; his brother Scott Trickler and wife Martha Halifax, MA; his 3 children: Sarah Trickler of Hanover, MA, Donald Trickler III of Quincy, MA and David Trickler of Marshfield, MA; his former wife Thelma Trickler of Marshfield, MA; and his 4 grandchildren.

Donald grew up in Marshfield, Massachusetts and lived there for most of his adult life. After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy for many years. After his time in the Navy, he began his career as a Union Carpenter and then went on to work for the Paul J. Rogan Company as a project manager. He enjoyed and took great pride in his work.

"Ducky" or "Donnie" as many people knew him, had a passion for music, playing guitar, boating, cooking and biking. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Donald will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Memorial services for Donald will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at a later date.
