Donna M. (Burge) McCarthy of Marshfield, originally from Dorchester, passed away November 13, 2023 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by her husband Denis McCarthy and was the loving mother of Denis F. McCarthy. Donna is survived by her siblings, Diane Cull and her husband Walter, Robert Burge and his wife Cathy, Mark Burge and his wife Colleen, Tammy Guest and her husband Matthew, Karen Burge, Michelle Burge, and many nieces and nephews.

Donna graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School and the Boston Business School. She began her career with the Gillette Company in 1975 and retired after 25 years. She also worked at Citizen's Bank in Marshfield.

Donna and her late husband loved to travel and entertain family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.

There will be an hour of visitation on Monday, November 27 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield and will conclude with a funeral procession to St. Christine Parish Church,  1295 Main Street in Marshfield, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
