Conroy, Doris M. (Busby), of Marshfield, passed away on May 1, 2016 at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo J. Conroy and dear mother of John "Jack" and Susan Conroy and James "Jim" and Maribeth Conroy, all of Marshfield. Doris leaves her grandchildren, whom she adored, Jennifer Steichen and her husband Justan, Matthew Conroy and his wife Lise Holdorf, Meghan Conroy, Jill Conroy, Kaitlyn Palmer and her husband Nathan, Kelsey, Lindsey, Jessica, Mark, Mary, Molly, and Mikey Conroy, and great grandchildren Cora, Ethan and Cyra, as well as her siblings Rita Lenox and her husband Peter of Medford, and Phyllis MacEachern and the late Jack MacEachern of Woburn.

Doris was born and raised in Somerville and after marrying Leo, her husband of 47 years, they raised their family in Arlington. Doris and Leo were avid "beach bums". Whether it was their second home in Marshfield or their retirement condo in Ft. Lauderdale, they could always be found on the beach. Doris also thoroughly enjoyed her many friends - shopping, playing bingo, bowling and, of course, going out to lunch were among her favorite pastimes. But her true love was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was often heard saying "my grandchildren make me grand and my great grandchildren make me great." They will all miss her.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139) Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home Thursday, May 5 at 9:30 for a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in Couch Cemetery.
