Doris A Lauzon (Lyons), of Marshfield, passed away on April 11, 2016 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Lauzon, Doris leaves her loving children Robert Lauzon, Jr., of Marshfield, Kathleen Nickerson of Plainville, Robin Lee Thomas of Plymouth, Annette Lauzon-Hum of Plymouth, Thomas Lauzon of Scituate, Michael Lauzon of Marshfield, Kevin Lauzon of Scituate, and Mark Lauzon of Marshfield. Doris leaves 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grand children, one great-great granddaughter and siblings Arlene Kraus of NH, Carolyn Lyons of Quincy, Marjorie Donovan of Dorchester, and Joseph Lyons Jr. of Quincy, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents the late Joseph F. and Ethel G. (Thompson) Lyons of Dorchester, two grandchildren Juliette and Crystal, and her late sisters Marie Thompson, Virginia Lyons, Rhoda Tewksbury, Jean Taglieri, and Barbara Keith.

Doris was a longstanding member of the St. Christine's choir and had a deep love of church and music. With a song in her heart, she would go about the day singing. Despite enormous challenges in life she remained steadfastly upbeat and positive. Her devout Catholic faith directed her to offer all people the same unconditional love that she gave her own family. She will forever be revered as a community mother by the countless number of people she touched and deeply cared for. She was truly a beautiful soul who lived her life in accordance to the Lord's teachings.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday, April 16 at 9:00 for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street, Marshfield. Interment will be in Couch Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Christine's Church in her name.
