Dorothy L. (Dunne) Magno, of Plymouth, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on January 9, 2023, at the age of seventy-three. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth A. Magno Sr. She was the loving mother of Kenneth A. Magno, Jr. and his wife Megan of Plymouth. She was the cherished "Nana" of Belmyra and Myrcella Magno. She leaves behind her brother Daniel Dunne of Vermont and her sister Diane Sylvester of Washington. She is predeceased by her brothers Dennis Dunne and David Dunne.

Dorothy was born in Boston to Daniel M. and Ethel (Reilly) Dunne. She graduated from Marshfield High School class of 1967. Dorothy worked in retail for most of her career for stores including Rich's Department store, where in the 1970's she became the company's first female Assistant Store Manager. In the 1980's Dorothy worked as a Machinist for Tech Etch. Dorothy and her husband operated Barleymount General Store, selling crafts and antiques, near the Plymouth waterfront for many years.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield, followed by interment in the Winslow Cemetery.
