Rankin, Dorothy May (Ward), of Marshfield, July 6, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Richard Rankin. Dear mother of Joan Aldridge of Marshfield, Wayne Rankin (Elaine) of Pembroke, Stephen Rankin (Annette) of Holbrook, Linda Noyes (Robert) of Center Ossipee, NH, Deborah Hobbs (Robert) of Carver and the late Alan Rankin. Also survived by l9 grandchildren, 4l great grandchildren and l great-great grandchild. Dorothy was born in Medford and lived in Marshfield since 1951. She retired in 1975 from Alves Photo in Braintree after 29 years of service. In later years Dorothy traveled extensively and loved spending time with family and friends. Visiting hours at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. l39, Marshfield on Friday, July 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. a Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. following the visiting hours. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions in Dorothy's memory may be made to the Alan Rankin Scholarship Fund, c/o Marshfield High School, Forest St., Marshfield, MA. 02050.
