Douglas H. Brown of Marshfield passed away on November 27, 2025 at the age of 78. He was beloved husband of the late Diane R. (Sergeant) Brown; loving father of Michael Brown, Christopher Brown, Amy Bradford, and the late Elizabeth A. Brown; and cherished grandfather of Talia, Antonio and Brandon Raftes, Daylin, Teagan, and Mikey Brown, Brian Maguire, and Lucy Bradford. Son of the late Elliot and Lucille (Hatten) Brown and brother of the late Elliot Brown, III, he is survived by a brother, Michael Brown.

Douglas was a very proud Vietnam War Veteran. After honorable discharge from the Army, he started a printing business that grew to be very successful. While raising their family, he and Diane made time together to travel "anywhere warm". After Diane passed, he enjoyed trips to Disney with daughter Amy and her family.

Douglas served as Commander of the Marshfield VFW for many years and always made sure the post was decorated for every holiday. He loved cleaning, waxing and cruising in his candy apple red '55 Bel Air.

Douglas was an amazing father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Burial on Monday, December 15 will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
