Douglas W. Morse, 68 of Marshfield passed away peacefully on January 5th, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Andrea Morse and devoted father of the late Brendan Zayko. Son of the late Ruth and Harold Morse. Son-in-law of Eileen (Abbondanza) Sealund and the late Dante Abbondanza and brother-in-law of David Abbondanza and his wife Elaine.

Doug grew up in St. Johnsbury, VT before attending Bentley University. He was a longtime resident of Plymouth, MA before moving to Marshfield. Before his retirement, Doug owned Group Insurance Service Center in Pembroke for many years.

Doug loved spending time with his family, especially his dogs. He also loved sharing stories with friends and most of all, he loved to laugh. He had a quiet strength, enduring positivity and the ability to persevere despite many challenges. He was a genuinely kind person who brought laughter to everyone who knew him.

Doug leaves behind his beloved dog Rex, several loving nieces and nephews and many dear friends, old and new, including his lifelong friend David Gonyaw. Services will be private.
