Douglas W. Spurrier, Sr. of Plymouth, formerly of Marshfield, MA. Passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on April 19, 2025 at the age of 50. Douglas is predeceased by his father, Warren D. Spurrier, Sr. and brother, Joel Spurrier. He leaves behind his two children, Emma Spurrier and Douglas W. Spurrier, Jr. and their mother Lindsay (Goodwin) Spurrier, of Marshfield, MA. He also leaves behind his partner, Kimberly Dodd and her two children, Kaleigh Dodd and McKenzie Dodd of Marshfield, MA.

Doug is the son of Joanne Spurrier of Marshfield, MA and the brother to Warren D. Spurrier, Jr. of Florida, Lisa Sifter of North Carolina, Derrick Spurrier of Brewster, MA, Jolene Hart of Tennessee, Jamie Robinson of Marshfield, MA and Rebecca Spurrier of Marshfield, MA. Doug leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and an aunt.

He is a graduate of Marshfield High School, class of 1993. Doug spent most of his life working as a landscaper and had a love of the outdoors and nature. Most of all, Doug loved his children. He was funny and charming and drew strength from his faith. He will be missed.

A memorial service will be held at the North River Community Church in Pembroke on Tuesday, April 29th at 1:00pm.
