Stratton, Edith B. of Duxbury, passed away on October 7, 2013 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Rodney W. Stratton. Dear sister of William Brown of Holbrook and the late Judith Stratton and Leonard Brown. Daughter of the late Seward and Josephine (Marshall) Brown. Step-mother of Caroline Stratton of Abington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Edith was born and raised in Boston. She was a former employee of N.E. Tel and retired from Rockland Federal Credit Union. Edith was an avid golfer. She loved playing cards and listening to Frank Sinatra's music as well her husband's singing. Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Couch Cemetery.
