Edward F. Kearney, of Plymouth, passed away on May 21, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Helen (Vecchione) Kearney; dear father of Eileen Aiello of Plymouth, Barbara McKinnon of Plymouth, and Marjorie Fenny of Venice, Florida; cherished grandfather of Michael, Gino, and Timothy and great-grandfather of Victoria Brady, Amanda and Gregory Aiello. Edward also leaves his nieces and nephews Joseph Barry, Mary Ellen Keenan, Ann Marie Gaffney, Michael Barry, Brian Barry, and Mary Teresa Roy.

Ed was a kind and generous person, whose greatest pleasure was spending time with his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and watching the Red Sox and golf on TV.

He was very active in the Plymouth Senior Center and was always helpful to those in need. Ed was a US Army veteran and was very proud of his service to our country during the Korean War. He will be greatly missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial with Military Honors in Couch Cemetery.
