King, Edward J., of Danvers, passed away on September 20, 2016 at the age of 43. Beloved son of James R. and Elinor M. (Hunt) King, Edward leaves his son Mason King and his former spouse Jennifer Russo King; a brother Christopher King and his wife Diane of Hanover and his nephews Danny and Jimmy, and niece Madelyn; uncles John R. Hunt Jr. and Kris Srihadi of Yarmouthport.

Ed graduated from Boston College High School in 1991. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated from Ocean Corp in Houston Texas where he attained a license as a Commercial Diver and an NDT Inspector. He was a Master Scuba diver and loved teaching those classes in the United States Virgin Islands. He was an accomplished underwater photographer. Ed loved his family, especially his son, Mason, and his dog Deco. He enjoyed all sports, especially the Bruins, the Grateful Dead and his inspection job at Northeast Testing and Manufacturing in Beverly Massachusetts.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.
