Eileen Louise Healy of Marshfield passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 68 after a long illness. Eileen is survived by her son John M. Harte and his wife Angie Harte of Willimantic, Connecticut; two sisters Joanne M. Bigelow of Portland, Maine and Patricia E. Shields and her husband John Shields of Hiram, Maine; her two nieces Morgan Cartonio and her husband Neil Cartonio of Porter, Maine and Mikaela Shields of Cornish, Maine; a sister-in-law Diane Healy of New Bedford; and nephews Rick Healy of New Bedford and Steve Zunino and his wife Mary of Bourne; and her dear friend for 40 years, Leah McCarthy of Cape Coral, Florida.
Daughter of the late John Downey Sydleman and Barbara (Phinney) Sydleman, Eileen was born in Brunswick and raised in South Portland, Maine. She graduated from South Portland high school and in the 1970s worked at Canal National Bank in Portland as a data entry clerk. She would enjoy a career in retail and at Shaws Supermarket in the following years and also worked at Gerard's Turkey Farm until this past April.
Eileen was a devoted member of the Salem Baptist Church in Salem, New Hampshire, a church which she loved deeply. She married her second husband Richard F. Healy of North Andover in June of 2003 and they had 16 years of great memories and successful fishing trips together.
Eileen loved the seashore, watching movies and was a friend to many. She will be dearly missed by those friends and family.
Eileen will be laid to rest with a service in the couch cemetery of Marshfield on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
