Lyons, Elise B. (Surette), of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2016 at the age of 69. Elise is the beloved wife of Robert J. Lyons, of 49 years, and loving mother of Robert J. Lyons Jr. and his wife Kristin of Hampton Beach, NH and John E. Lyons and his wife Vera of Quincy. Elise leaves her grandchildren Catherine and Thomas Lyons, Megan, Emma, and Abby Lyons, and siblings Constance Surette of Florida and Gibb Surette of New York, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

Elise grew up in Brookline, Ma and spent time with family in Ocala, Florida. She spent many years working for Jack Conway, first in Real Estate then his Mortgage business. Elise was a devoted wife and proud mother. Elise loved spending time with family and friends, and especially seeing the new generation coming in. Her greatest love was her 5 grandchildren, who she took every opportunity to see, watching their sports and activities or just spending time; she cherished every moment with them.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield, and will conclude with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
