Elizabeth J. (Ferreira) Cipullo, 91 of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022 after a long illness with Alzheimer's Disease. Betty was born in 1930 to Evelyn (Noren) and Joseph Ferreira of Cohasset. Betty lived in Marshfield when she was young where she made lifelong friends. Betty was an only child and lost her father at a young age. Upon his death, she and her mom moved to Weymouth to the home of her beloved Aunt and Uncle who raised her like their own. She graduated from Weymouth High School, met and married her former husband Louis Cipullo (MFD retired) and moved back to Marshfield in 1954. She raised her family and remained in the same home for the rest of her life. Betty worked at various jobs throughout her adult life, most recently at Plimoth Plantation. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her son Louis "Buddy" Cipullo (MFD retired) and his wife Lynne of Marshfield, her daughter Patricia Collins of Marshfield, and grandchildren Michael Cipullo and his wife Heather of Carver, Julie Joyce and her husband Kevin of Marshfield, Lori Capone and her husband Joe of Marshfield, and Eric Collins of Marshfield. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, Max and Millie Cipullo, Eamonn, Colin, Teddy, and Frankie Joyce, and Leo and Adrianna Capone.
Betty was an avid walker and would be seen by many Marshfield residents on her daily 5-mile walk until a fall in 2018. Betty loved to shop for special treasures for her family. A kind and gentle soul, Betty will be missed by her family and friends.
Betty's family would like to acknowledge a deep appreciation to Compassionate Care Hospice of Taunton and to Betty's friends at Royal Nursing Home in Norwell who cared for her during the last year of her life.
