Elizabeth Sarah (Farah) Felix, aged 80, of Marshfield, MA., formerly of Hamilton Square, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 17, 2023. Elizabeth was born on September 14th, in Media, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of the late Charles Joseph Farah, Sr. and Elizabeth Martha (Warner) Farah. She was the sister of Charles Joseph Farah Jr. and the late Joseph Alexander Farah.
Elizabeth was a graduate of Florence High School, Class of 1960, and attended Thomas Jefferson University, where she studied Phlebotomy. She worked for Musarat Saeed, MD, Internal Medicine, Rancocas Valley Hospital OB-Gyn, and Helene Fuld - Bruce Brodkin, MD OB-Gyn. Over the course of time, Elizabeth helped provide care for underserved patients in the City of Trenton at Healthstar Prenatal Clinic. To date the clinic is still located on Bellevue Avenue in Trenton, NJ. Elizabeth retired at the age of 68, while working in Office Management for Maternal Fetal Medicine at Capital Health, Trenton, New Jersey.
Elizabeth loved lotus flowers and was deeply moved by music, she performed in church choirs where she sang Soprano. She could always be found listening to music and dancing. She was proud to talk about a time she was picked to dance on American Bandstand.
Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her family and many close friends, both near and far. She is survived by her daughter, K. Elizabeth Felix-Greene, and her daughter-in-law, Colleen A. Greene, of Marshfield, brother Charles Joseph Farah (Sheryl), along with nine nieces and nephews, dozens of great-nieces and nephews, and her many close friends whom we consider extended family members.
Our deepest gratitude should be expressed to Life Care in Plymouth for their kindness, care, and devotion to Mom over the final months of her life. We will remain forever grateful for your compassion.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Marshfield Hills. I ask that you remember my mother the next time you sing and dance alone or with friends, and please dance and sing often.
In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations in memory of Elizabeth to Goodwill Hunters, a 501(c)(3) organization. Goodwill Hunters has agreed to earmark all donations to our favorite local charities, serving the underserved and the hearts that need healing. For a link to donate visit:
