Griffin, Elizabeth "Betty" J. (Proctor), of Marshfield, formerly of Duxbury, passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of the late Dennis J. Griffin and loving mother of Denise Glynn and her husband William of Marshfield, Donna Farley and her husband John of Onset, Lorraine Samoncik and her late husband Peter of Kingston, Dennis Griffin and his wife Heather (Martin) of Pembroke, Paul Griffin and his wife Amy (Walkey) of Norwell, and Stacey Mastrangelo and her husband Daniel of Marshfield. Betty was the proud grandmother of Jessica, William, John, Jennifer, Frank, Dennis III, Samantha, Amanda, Maddie, Jean, Sean, Christina, Cameren, Olivia, Jacob, the late Nicole, and the late Lilly, and great grandmother of 9. She is also survived by her sister Helen Sylvia of North Reading and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was a huge Boston Sports fan especially the Red Sox and Patriots.  She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grand children's events.  Shopping with her daughters and traveling with her late husband Dennis we're her favorite things to do.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery.
