Elizabeth Ellen Medaglia of Marshfield, formerly of Newton, passed away on July 22, at age 53, after a brief battle with cancer.

Elizabeth leaves behind her loving husband Mark Grindle and two daughters Isabella Luna Medaglia-Grindle, age 14, and Ophelia Autumn Medaglia-Grindle, age 11. Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving father Tony. Elizabeth also leaves behind her loving mother Catherine, her brother Christian Medaglia, brother Justin Medaglia his wife Kirstin, and their three children Mary Grace Medaglia, John Anthony Medaglia and Rhys Alexander Medaglia.

Elizabeth graduated Dana Hall class of 1987 and from College of the Holy Cross class of 1991. Elizabeth later attended Cornell Law School until she realized her passion for helping people through acupuncture. Elizabeth would go on to earn a degree in acupuncture and become a licensed five Element Acupuncture practitioner.

Elizabeth loved all types of music and dance. She also enjoyed spending many summers with her family and friends enjoying Humarock beach. Ultimately Elizabeth found that her greatest love was being a mother and wife.

Elizabeth will be missed and loved forever by all those whose lives she touched with kindness and compassion, and most especially by her loving family.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday July 30, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
