Renaud, Eric D, age 47, of Burleson, Texas passed away at his home on December 1, 2023. Eric leaves his wife Chiara Neves and his children Isaac Donald, William Donald and Olivia Mary.

Eric was the cherished son of Margaret (Peg) Linskey Renaud-Cantwell of Marshfield and the late Donald Renaud. He leaves his mother-in-law Bernadete Poleto Neves of Brazil, for whom he had a great fondness, and sister-in-law Simone Neves, also of Brazil. He also leaves his stepfather John (Jack) Cantwell, whom he looked forward to being with to talk sports, any and all sports but especially Boston teams. He was the much loved "little brother" of his sisters Dawn Renaud of Hudson, NH, Robin Renaud Mendieta of Florida and Kathleen Goulart of Tewksbury. He leaves many extended family members including his uncle, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Born in Lowell, Eric settled in Marshfield and was a 1994 graduate of Marshfield High School, where he was the class poet. He continued his writing and poetry throughout his life and was in the process of writing a book titled "This is the Show".

Eric enjoyed all kinds of sports and was an avid coin collector and was very active in online groups related to these hobbies. He was an avid reader and enjoyed a good debate on various topics. He had a great sense of humor and could quote scenes from Seinfeld.

Eric was thoughtful, considerate, and kind. He will always be remembered for his kindness and his unfailing ability to be forgiving. When Eric engaged you in conversation, he would make you feel like the most important person in the world. Most important to Eric was his family, of which he was very proud.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield, followed by interment in the Couch Cemetery.
