Erin P. Murphy, 42, of Marshfield, passed away on July 25, 2017.  Devoted mother of Finn Foley, Erin is the beloved daughter of Jane M. (Rankin) and the late John T. Murphy, and longtime companion of Patrick K. Foley.  Erin is the loving sister of John C. Murphy and his wife Christine of Marshfield, Jane Covitz and her husband Gary of North Carolina, and Douglas Murphy and his wife Maryanne of Sandwich. She is the dear Aunt of Sarah, Leah, Chelsey, Cameron, Brian, Brendan, Angela, and Great Aunt of Mia.

Erin was born in Boston and was a life long resident of Marshfield, graduating from Marshfield high school in 1993. Erin was a beautiful loving person with a huge heart who made everyone lucky enough to know her smile and laugh.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield.  Burial will be in the Couch Cemetery.
