Tengberg, Ernst E., of Pembroke, longtime resident of Weymouth, passed away on February 11, 2017 at the age of 66.  Ernst is the loving father of Eric Tengberg of Pembroke, Thomas Tengberg of Plymouth, and Brian Tengberg of Marshfield. Ernst is predeceased by his parents, the late Gustaf and Agnes (Bergman) Tengberg, and a brother, the late Gus Tengberg.

Ernst was born in Weymouth and was a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and Reggae music, and was an avid fan of all the New England sports teams.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139) Marshfield. Burial will be in Old North Cemetery in Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ernst can be made to the V.A. Hospice in Brockton.
