Florence M. (Ryer) Davis, a longtime resident of Marshfield, passed away on April 24, 2021 with her loving family by her side, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late William J. Davis, she was the mother of Joan Fall (husband Greg) of Milton, Ellen Murphy (husband Jack) of Sandwich, Florence Anderson (husband Mike) of Cicero, NY, William J. Davis, Jr., of Marshfield, Paul Davis (wife Debbie) of Wareham, Stephen Davis of Marshfield, the late Robert L, Davis and the late John Davis. Florence was the loving grandmother of Rebecca and Alexandra Fall, Colleen Estes and Christopher Murphy, Craig Anderson, the late Jimmy and Eric Anderson, and Jennifer, Kayla, and Justin Davis. She was the proud great-grandmother of Derek and Connor Estes, Etta Lee Murphy, Owen, Spencer, and Alivia Anderson, Kristine Kearney, Jackson Davis and Colton Davis.

A dedicated and caring RN, Florence served as School Nurse at the Gov. Wilson Elementary School for 25 years. She was devoted to her family and faith, and also served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Ann's by the Sea for many years.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery.
