Frances A. (Picariello) Bell, 80 of Marshfield, formerly of Brownfield, ME and Quincy, MA passed away surrounded by her loving family and dear friends on February 14, 2024.  Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Stephen E. Bell Sr.

Loving Mother of Michell A. Horton (Wayne) of Taunton; Stephen E. Bell Jr. (Amanda) of Rhode Island; Mark E. Bell (Sheila) of Abington; Christine A. Smith (Kevin) of Marshfield. Devoted Nana to Stephen, Brittany, Katelyn, Ryan, Nolan, Hillary, Stephan, Fracisco, Abby, Jillian, Dominic, Haley, Deliah, and Brenden. Franny is survived by her siblings John Picariello of Haverhill, MA; Paul Picariello of Weymouth, MA; Diane McHale of Abington, MA.

Franny was born January 29, 1944, in Boston, MA. Franny raised her family in Brockton and Quincy, MA. In 1998, she retired from her career as a domestic engineer and moved to Maine to enjoy her well-deserved retirement. In 2020, Franny moved full time to Marshfield so she could enjoy her grandchildren. Franny also enjoyed spending time at the Marshfield Senior Center. While Franny balanced family and fun, she made many memories and had great times with her tribe.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in Franny's memory can be made to Cranberry Hospice, by mail to 36 Cordage Park Circle, Plymouth MA 02360 or to the Marshfield Senior Center, 230 Webster Street, Marshfield MA 02050.
