Cole, Francis Ian ("Frank"), of Marshfield, died peacefully on October 6, 2015 at the age of 65 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved son of the late Ronald and Noreen (Cowan) Cole and the brother of the late Veronica ("Ronnie") Cole. Born in Loughton, England on November 8, 1949, he was the devoted husband and best friend of Jane (Lamm) Cole for 42 years. Loving father of Mark Cole and his wife Danielle, and Ryan Cole and his wife Debra, all of Braintree. His most cherished role was beloved "Grampie" of Cassidy, Kendall, Alexander and Rory. He was also survived by his mother and father-in law James and June DeBlois of Carver, MA, his brother and sister-in-law James and Dawn (Lamm) Pitrone of Florida, sister-in-law Jayne Lamm of Weymouth, MA, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother-in-law of the late Joseph Lamm of Weymouth, MA.

Frank, a longtime resident of Marshfield, was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He worked as a mechanic for over 40 years and earned the rank of 5-Star Technician for the Dodge/Chrysler Company. Frank was active in the Boy Scouts, the Jaycees, and Marshfield Rod & Gun Club. A devoted family man, Frank loved celebrating birthdays and holidays at the family homes, and doted on his grandchildren, driving them from school and home, and attending all their sporting events. He will be sorely missed but will live forever in our hearts.

A Funeral Mass will be held in St Christine's Church 1295 Main St Marshfield at 9:00 am. On Saturday October 10, 2015.
