Francis P. Hayes, Jr., of Marshfield, passed away on August 12, 2017 at the age of 79.  Son of the late Francis P. Hayes Sr. and Katherine (Burns) Hayes, Francis leaves his sister, Esther Sampson of Framingham, his caregivers, Cathy Herrick and Tina Degust, Gerard Degust, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Rita Degust.

Francis was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Teamsters Union. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 2:15 p.m. at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
