Frank K. Burton, III, 49, of Rapid City, South Dakota, passed away on December 25, 2015 following a brief illness.

Frank is survived by his parents Frank K. Burton, Jr. of Rockland, Jean Burton-Packer (late Kenneth Packer) of Duxbury, his wife Amanda Ingels of Rapid City, South Dakota, his daughters Alexandria Burton and Rhiannon Burton, and his former wife Tracey (Abboud) Burton of Marshfield, his sister Laura Gilsdorf (Kevin) of Marstons Mills, their children Ryan, Evan and Jackie and his step-sisters Michelle Helvey (John) of Virginia, Monique O'Leary (Keith) of Wakefield, Aimee Glowka (Michael) of Plymouth and Jolene Packer (Dan) of Plymouth.

Frank grew up in Marshfield and graduated Marshfield High School in 1985. He worked in the Fire Alarm Industry for many years before moving to South Dakota, where had always dreamed of living. Frank was an avid sports fan and loved his New England teams.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139), in Marshfield. A Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
