Francis "Frank" Stacey, 79, of Marshfield, MA, passed away at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Somerville to the late Francis Stacey and Marion Stacey (Gerraughty). Frank spent his early years growing up in Medford, MA and then moved to Marshfield where he was a resident for over 40 years.
Frank proudly served in the Air Force for four years from 1963 to 1967. His dedication and commitment to his military associations were commendable.
Frank had a successful career in the banking industry. He worked at Shawmut Bank and State Street Bank, where he made significant contributions to his industry. Frank was also a cherished mentor to many. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Frank leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary Stacey (O'Connor), his daughter Cathlyn and husband James Fasanella, and his granddaughter Mackenzie. He is also survived by his sister Jacqueline Caggiano as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Harold Stacey.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Visiting hours will be held from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield, followed by a funeral procession to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield for the 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial will be in the Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street in Duxbury.
