Frank A. Wencis of Marshfield passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Shirley (Trask) Wencis; loving father of Mark Wencis and his wife Donna of Plymouth, Brian Wencis and his wife Tricia of Marshfield, and Gary Wencis of Marshfield; cherished grandfather of Danielle (husband Kevin) Devlin, Mark and Matthew Wencis, Garrett Wencis, and Samantha Wencis; dear brother of Helen Stremeckus of Waltham, Edward Wencis and his wife Loretta of Halifax, Anne Gallo of Medford, Lorraine Oloskey of Halifax, and Marilyn McHugh and her husband James of Dunellon, FL. Son of the late Felix and Amelia (Knapick) Wencis, he is also predeceased by siblings Julius Wencis, Felix Wencis, Bronya Sharkey, Jennie Vecchry, and Stanley Wencis. Frank leaves many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Frank was raised in Brighton and was a proud Army Veteran who served in Korea during the Korean War. He was an avid outdoorsman and would often be found helping family and friends with whatever project, large or small, was in the works because he could do and build just about anything. Frank was above all else a loving and devoted family man who will be sorely missed.
