Obituary

Roderick, Frederick W. "Freddy" 83 of Marshfield January 15, at his home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Mary C. "Teia" (Lopes) Roderick. Loving brother of John Roderick, Kenneth Roderick, Janet Roderick, the late Rosemary, Peggy, Evelyn, Juliet "JuJu", Joseph "Moose", Delores and Donald "Wayne".
Freddy was born and raised in Marshfield. During a visit to his grandmothers house he met his wife of 54 years "Teia" they married April 13, 1960. Freddy was a Laboror for Local #721 of the Laborers Union in Brockton, he served proudley in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. Freddy's hobbies were watching old Western movies and going to the Race Track and owned several Race Horses at one time.
Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main St., Rte. 3A in Marshfield on Wednesday, January 21 at 9:00 a.m.
Interment will be held in Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne, MA. following the Mass at 11:30 am.
