Puleo, Gaetano W. "Guy", of Marshfield, formerly of Randolph and South Boston, passed away on January 5, 2017 at the age of 90.  Beloved husband of 68 years to A. Evelyn (Simili) Puleo. Loving and dedicated father of Elaine Smith and her husband Carl of Marshfield, William Puleo and his companion Lisa Hashen of Canton, Anthony Puleo and his wife Susan of Taunton, and Jane Dulong and her companion Donald Leon of Stoughton. Grandfather of George, Anntonette, Kerry, Nicholas, Kristen, Victor, Anthony, and Amanda; great-grandfather of John, Robert, Gabrielle, Rebecca, Benjamin, and Kora. He is predeceased by siblings Samuel, Anna, Nunzio, Mary, Anthony, and Rose.

Guy was born in South Boston to the late Anna (Cassis) and Joseph Puleo and graduated from South Boston High School.  He proudly served in the U.S. Merchant Marines during World War II.  Guy, with his two brothers, owned and operated Commercial Sheet Metal Company, Inc. of Canton. Presently, Guy was involved with his two sons William and Anthony Puleo's business, New Com Metal Products Corp. in Randolph. Guy humbly enjoyed entertaining with the accordion, the keyboard, and his voice. He was an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus in Scituate.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street, Marshfield. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Randolph.
