Loomis, Geoffrey M., of Marshfield, passed away on January 20, 2017 at the age of 67. Geoffrey is the beloved husband of Donna (Conner) Loomis and dear father of Kasey Rhodes and her husband Brian of Marshfield and Jesse Lee Levy and her husband Dean of Rockland; proud grandfather of Luke, Emma, and Reed Rhodes; brother of Kenneth Loomis and his wife Helen of Hingham and Alan Loomis and his wife Susan of East Bridgewater; loving brother in-law, cousin, uncle and friend. He is son of the late Merton C. and Elizabeth J. (Ward) Loomis.

Geoffrey was raised in Abington and graduated Abington High School Class of 1967. He attended Massasoit Community College and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Geoffrey has been a member of Carpenters Local Union 40 with Boston Builders for most of his career. Geoffrey has been a resident of Marshfield for 38 years where he loved spending time at the ocean. He enjoyed sports, playing guitar, cooking, listening to music, and reading. He devoted his life to his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will conclude with a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield.
