Celia, George Jr., of Marshfield, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2015 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 67 years to Clementina "Tina" (Francario) Celia. Loving father of Janet Cupples and her husband Donald of Marshfield, Anthony Celia and his wife Pegi of Hanson, Elaine Celia of Marshfield, and George Ceilia and his wife Cindy of Bridgewater. Cherised grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Brother of Vi Feroli, the late Marion Frino and the late Louise Cappiello. Brother in-law to Martin Feroli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

George, a long-time resident of Marshfield, was born on April 16, 1925 in Brockton and spent many winters in Pompano Beach, Florida, An avid golfer, he developed many lasting friendships and always had a good golf story. In 1947 he started the Celia Insurance Agency with great success that his two sons have carried on. A fine man with an endearing personality and a quick wit that will be remembered by all who knew him. George kept his sense of humor and his sharp mind even through his illness. He will be missed but will remain in our hearts forever. George's happiest times were spent with his big family.

Visiting hours will be held at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Monday, March 16 from 4 to 8 PM.
