Gorham, George F. 77 of Marshfield September 5, 2015. Beloved husband of Patricia M. (Brennan) Gorham. Loving father of Christine Stickney (Leo), Anne Stone (Jim), William Gorham (Ann Margaret), Deborah Gorham (James Serra) and Matthew Gorham (Heidi) all of Marshfield. Grandfather of Alyson and Amanda Stickney, Jordan Barnes, Sam Stone, Ryan, Megan, Caitlyn, Connor, Abby and Nathan Gorham. Son of the late Joseph and Alice (Gordon) Gorham. Brother of Alice Fisher of NJ, Dorothy Chase of NH, Rita McLaughlin of Hanover and the late Joseph Gorham. George was born and raised in Wollaston and graduated from North Quincy High School. George worked in South Boston at the family business, Gorham Fire Equipment. In 1960, he married Pat moving to Marshfield in 1965 where they built their first home and raised their five children. In 1978, George founded ABC Equipment on Main Street in Marshfield working with his sons and daughters establishing his own family business. Active in the Saint Christine's Parish, George was a regular usher at Sunday 7 AM mass. An avid boater, George also loved to sail, fish and take long rides up and down the North and South River. George also enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He looked forward to his and Pat's annual winter trip to Florida for rest and relaxation on the west coast. Family and friends were his true love in life. Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 Marshfield on Wednesday September 9, 2015 from 4 to8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday, September 10, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St Christine's Church 1295 Main St Marshfield at 10:00 am.
