Gerald R. 'Gerry" Peters passed away on April 15, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Gerry was born in Truro to the late Mary (Doherty) and Joseph Peters, Jr. He graduated from Wellfleet High School in 1948 and proudly served in the U.S. Army as Private E2 AU-SARTY during the Korean Conflict. Following his military service, Gerry attended and graduated from East Coast Aero Tech as an Aircraft Technician, then enjoyed a 35-year career with United Airlines, retiring in 1992.

Gerry was the owner/operator, with his son Timothy, of the Cedar View Filling Station for 18 years in the Green Harbor section of Marshfield, his residence since 1967. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret "Peggy" Pickard Peters, his sons, David and Timothy, a sister, Anne, of Truro, and three grandchildren. He was the loving father of the late Gerry Jr,. and Dean Peters. Gerry will be missed but remembered by all who knew him.
