Geraldine "Geri" Mae Eaniri, 79, passed away on July 10th after a brief illness.

Geri was a resident of Marshfield for over 35 years and grew up in Rockland. Upon graduating Rockland High School, Geri worked in management for John Hancock for 30 years.  At her 25th work anniversary celebration, her boss expressed that "everyone needs a Geri Eaniri in their lives." For all of those who knew her, know those sentiments couldn't ring more true.

Geri will be known for her easy going nature, striking blue eyes, and her willingness to help those around her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, discovering great finds through QVC, playing bingo and (the card game) Murder, and trips to Foxwoods with her friends.

She was the daughter of the late Gerald Eaniri and Doris Swain Eaniri of Rockland and the sister of Beverly Hussey and her late husband William Hussey of Pembroke and her late sister Gail Dibona and her husband Dr. Douglas DiBona of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by her dear niece Pamela Bearce and her husband Steve Bearce of Halifax, her nephew William "BJ" Hussey and his fiance Mary Quill and her daughter Amy and son Greg of Pembroke, her niece Jaime Connor of Key Largo and nephew Kevin DiBona and his wife Perry of Virginia Beach. Geri was the beloved great-great aunt to Olivia Rose Hussey and great aunt to Scott Burns, Ryan Hussey, Nicholas Hussey, Katie DiBona, Carolyn DiBona, Thomas DiBona, James Connor and John Connor. Geri was also survived by many dear friends including her close friends Catherine Bigelow, Maryann Tougas, Carol Palermo, Valerie Briggs, Susan Lizine, Maureen Shea Smith and the late Fr. "Jerry" Shea. Many other friends and family were a part of Geri's life who will all miss her presence deeply.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church on 40 Canal Street in Marshfield on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m..
