Gerard F. Melia of Marshfield passed away on December 12, 2018 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Ann M. (Kiley) Melia; loving father of Jerry Melia and his wife Deb of Hingham, Patrick Melia and his wife Donna of Marshfield. Michelle Wiggin and her husband John of Marshfield, and Mark Melia and his wife Cindy of Portland, Oregon; dear grandfather of Matthew, Luke, John, Ryan, Darby, Corey, Nicole, Tristan and great-granddaughter Emmie.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury. Burial will be in the Winslow Cemetery, Marshfield.
