With heavy hearts and love we announce the death of Gloria Ayre of Marshfield, MA who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 94. Devoted mother of Arthur W. Ayre Jr. and his long-time companion Jan Mirick, Paul Ayre and his wife Nellie, Mark Ayre (predeceased), and Darren Ayre (predeceased).

Gloria was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur W. Ayre. She was also predeceased by her father Joseph Marino, her mother Florence (Sallali) Marino, and her 10 brothers and sisters:  Mary (Mamie) Monahan, Grace (CeCe) Lombardi, Anna Bello, Angela (Gina) Marino, Florence Merriam, Martha Cosindas, Theresa Salvato, Joseph Marino, Ralph (Booley) Marino, and Armand (Mandy Marino).

She was the proud grandmother to Michael and his wife Kristen, Lysa Marie (predeceased), Adam, Alexander, Olivia, and her great grandchildren Nicolas and Alexandra. She is also survived by Mal Dellolio-Ayre (former daughter-in-law) and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, January 19 ^th from 9:00 a.m.  to 10:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield, followed by a church service beginning at 11:00 a.m. located at St. Ann's by the Sea Route 139 in Marshfield.

Interment will be private.
