Barbuto, Gloria N. of Duxbury, formerly of Watertown, passed away on January 13, 2013 at the age of 92. Dear sister of the late Joseph, Nancy, Frank, and Louis Barburto, Mary Lamacchia and Anna DeLorenzo. Daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Russo) Barbuto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gloria graduated from Watertown High School. She was the former owner of Paramount Market in Newton and worked as the Assistant Tax Collector in Duxbury for 28 years before retiring in 1998. A visiting hour will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St., in Duxbury at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Newton Cemetery. Contributions in Gloria's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
