Thibeault, Gloria C. (Robillard), of Marshfield, passed away at home after a period of failing health on November 28, 2018, surrounded by her family and devoted caregivers. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Thibeault, Gloria was the loving mother of Sharon Thibeault and her husband Mark Stafford of Marshfield, Nicole Saddler and her husband Robert of Stoney Creek, Ontario, and Renee Barkley and her husband Scott of San Mateo, CA, and cherished grandmother of Oliver and Charlotte Stafford, Matthew Saddler, and Helen and Claire Barkley.

Born and raised in the Aldenville section of Chicopee to parents of French Canadian descent, Gloria graduated from St. Jerome High School where she was an honor student, president of the debate team, drama club lead roles in the school plays, and a cheerleader. Gloria worked as an Executive Secretary in the Engineering Department of General Electric and then for the Human Resources Department of Raytheon Company. Gloria and her husband settled in Marshfield and were one of the original parishioners of Saint Christine's church. During her over 60 years of marriage to Joseph Rene Thibeault, 20 years were spent living in France and Saudi Arabia, and traveling the world. Gloria had a passion for books, movies, and antiquing and a keen eye for fashion and decorating. Her daughters were her life's work and her joy. She adored her sons-in-law and then her grandchildren. Gloria was a proud woman who often shared her lessons of hard work, generosity and kindness to others. Gloria prayed daily and enjoyed her Siamese cats, entertaining, current events, and a good laugh!

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 9:00 for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street (Rte 3A) in Marshfield. Burial will be in the Couch Cemetery.
