Harold P. (Skip) Melvoen, 67, of Marshfield died peacefully on August 8th after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Harold N. Melvoen and Doris (French) Melvoen. He will be dearly missed by his children Matthew Melvoen of Marshfield and Krista Salamone and her husband Anthony of Halifax, his grandchildren Christian and Arabella of Halifax, his former wife Kathleen of Marshfield, his sister Elaine De Chantal of South Carolina, his brothers Joseph and Kenneth Melvoen of Florida, many nieces and nephews and cousins and his beloved dog, Scrappy.

He was born in St Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada and after moving to the states and finishing school he got married and moved back to Canada and started a family. They eventually moved back to the states where is obtained his CDL and had been driving trucks for years before health issues prevented him from continuing. Those who knew him will fondly remember his spicy personality and "special cookies".
