He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Schecowicz) Huddleston of East Bridgewater and a devoted father to Thomas Patrick Huddleston and his wife Jennifer of Wrentham, MA. He was the cherished "Deeda" to his grandchildren, Shelby and Ty Huddleston of Wrentham, MA.

Harry was predeceased by his parents, Herman H. Huddleston and Josephine M. Huddleston of Marshfield Hills, MA and his mother-in-law Helene Schecowicz of Woburn. Harry is survived by his brothers Dennis Huddleston of Green Harbor, MA and Paul Huddleston of Plymouth, MA. He was the uncle to Joshua Huddleston and his wife Alissa of Scituate; Ginger Bird and her husband Trey of Whitman and Brian Etheridge of Woburn, MA. Also survived by many cousins and dear friends.

Harry was born in Memphis, TN and spent most of his childhood in Memphis. He and his wife Joanne recently visited after being away for 60 years. He was active in many sports and excelled in baseball. In 1965 his parents moved to Marshfield Hills where Harry entered Marshfield High School as a Junior. He finished up with graduating with the Class of 1967.

Harry went to Burdett College in Boston and spent one semester at Memphis State as a theater major. After spending a year at a company in Boston in the accounting department - he knew sitting behind a desk all day wasn't for him - so he ventured into carpentry working for various companies framing houses in the South Shore of Boston and eventually becoming a member of Local 424 Carpenter. When "banging" nails became tough for him he became a lumber salesman.

In 1985 he met his wife Joanne, and they married in 1987 and moved to Braintree where they lived for 30 years. They welcomed their son Thomas in 1988. From then on, he devoted his time to working, raising his son and playing softball. Harry played on various softball teams from the time he was 18 until he hung up his cleats at the age of 62. Joanne and Tom spent countless days and hours going to "Daddy's ball games" and during those years met and became lifelong friends with many. Harry also enjoyed skiing and golf. When Tom was older, Harry could be seen either coaching or on the sidelines cheering him on. Harry was very proud of his son.

Harry and Joanne traveled all over New England to tournaments for Tom and loved going to Oklahoma to watch him play college ball. They also loved travelling frequently to Florida to visit Joanne's mother and loved visiting Boothbay Harbor, Maine for the Clambakes to Cabbage Islan.  For their 25th anniversary they took a trip out west and visited Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Sedona Arizona and Phoenix.

Harry and Joanne decided to downsize in 2017 and moved to East Bridgewater.  In 2021 they welcomed their first grandchild Shelby and it was love at first sight.  Shelby named him "Deeda".  In 2023 they welcomed a grandson, Ty. Harry was a proud "Deeda" and loved showing off pictures of the kids. He will be sorely missed by all and never forgotten.
