Obituary

Heaven Smith passed away peacefully in her home after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.

Born on December 9, 1976, she was known for her beautiful spirit, strong heart, and deep love for her family and friends. As a baby, she had black hair and brown eyes, which changed to blonde hair and blue eyes just two weeks later — a story her loved ones always remembered fondly.

Heaven attended Marshfield High School Class of 1995, where she formed many lifelong friendships.

She was a devoted mother to her two children, Dylan and Jude, who were the center of her world. In 2005, she met Mike, the love of her life, and together they built a beautiful family. The couple married in 2010.

They moved to Norwell to raise their children and provide them with the best educational opportunities before eventually returning to her childhood hometown and family home in Marshfield.

Heaven had a special love for animals, especially her donkey, Roger, who was a beloved companion to her. She cherished being outdoors, spending time in nature, and creating lasting memories with her husband, children, and family.

She was known for her strong work ethic and dedication, having worked for Crown Automotive since 2004. Heaven had a remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

Family meant everything to her. After the passing of her mother, she became the matriarch & glue that held her family together, always making time for the people she loved most. She was the cherished sister of Kenny, Robin, Terry, Jamie, and Gary, sister in-law of Taylor, sister in-law of Patty, and daughter in-law of Michael and Patricia Smith.

Heaven will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt, as well as loving two great-nieces. Her kindness, strength, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the North River Church, 334 Oak Street in Pembroke, followed by burial in the Couch Cemetery, Union Street in Marshfield.
