Obituary
Helen A. Coyman (Garvey), of Marshfield, MA, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the age of 96. Helen was born in South Boston, MA on February 4, 1925 to James and Mary Garvey. She met her late husband Edward F. Coyman in grade school. They later married and spent 58 wonderful years together before his passing in 2008.
Helen worked as a telephone operator for AT&T and lived in Marshfield in a lovely home with a pool. Her family has many fond memories of spending summers there. After retiring, Helen and her (late) husband moved to Naples, FL where they enjoyed golfing, swimming, and playing cards at the clubhouse.
Helen is survived by her two sons, Edward Coyman Jr. and Paul Coyman; four grandchildren, Andrew Griffin, Sarah McCarty, Bradford Coyman and Jill Coyman; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Carole Sullivan (Coyman) in 1990. Helen loved her family greatly and had a joyful attitude in life. She will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Christine Catholic Church on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Helen's memory may be made to a charity of your choosing.
