Helen Murphy Cushing, 74, wife of Harvey Briggs Cushing, of Duxbury, MA entered into eternal rest Friday, March 15, 2019. Helen was born January 2, 1945 in Cambridge, MA, the third daughter of the late George T. Murphy and Helen M. Murphy. In addition to her husband of 49 years, Helen is survived by three children: Mary R. Cushing, Helen C. Daniel (Thomas), Michael B. Cushing (Laura); three grandchildren: Thomas Michael, Gabriel Briggs, and Alaina Victoria Daniel; and one sister, Ann Marie Burgoyne; fourteen nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen M. Fallon and brother, Col. George T. Murphy.

The relatives and friends of Helen and Harvey are invited to attend her Mass at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield, MA.
