Helen (Lane) Horrigan, of Marshfield, passed away on July 30, 2025, following a lengthy illness, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Vin, in 2022. Daughter of the late Thomas M. and Nora (Cunningham) Lane of Co. Galway, Ireland, Helen was predeceased by brothers James, Thomas, Andrew, John "Jack", Matthew, William, and Francis Lane, as well as sisters Mary Sloper, Pat Foley, and Theresa Lane. She is survived by her stepchildren Julie (Jim) McGuire, Judith (Dick) Pilotte, and James (Lauren), John (Jennique), Joseph, Jeffrey (Katie) and Janet Horrigan, as well as 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A native of West Roxbury, Helen graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ and served in the Sisters of Charity order before becoming a longtime teacher at F.A. Cleveland Elementary School in Norwood.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 13, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m, and will conclude with a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury will be private.
