Obituary

Newmarket, NH - Helen Turner (Sue), 85, died on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in the loving care of her family. Sue was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts to John Judge and Cora 'Marie' (Hazle) Judge. Sue is formerly from Green Harbor/Marshfield, MA.

After graduating from St. Rose in Chelsea, Sue attended the Whidden Memorial College of Nursing where she received her RN license. This is where Sue met many of her lifelong friends. From earning her degree, Sue embarked on a well accomplished nursing career, spanning from Boston to New Orleans. A career she cherished and found boundless success in each position, personally and professionally.

Sue is fondly remembered by so many for her singing, dancing and overall love of music, an image her loved ones will always treasure. Sue also provided countless chuckles and outright laughter to all who knew her.

As we embrace our loss and get used to living without her, it's inspiriting Sue has been reunited with the love of her life, Jerry. It's comforting they are together once again. Sue and Jerry found soulmates in each other the moment they met many years ago, the two shared an incredibly rich life together, where they loved and laughed, enjoyed travel and home, took care of family and friends, and complimented each other, always. The two of them found Sarasota, Florida together, where they enjoyed many years of fine dining, music, art, opera, and a community of wonderful people. We will miss the holiday festivities with Sue as we approach this season but most of all, we will miss Mum, Nana, Sue.

Sue is survived by her loving children, John Daly, NH, Anne Marie (Nini) and Mike Casey, Newmarket, NH and Peggy and Wayne Berry, Portsmouth, NH.

Sue is ever-loving Nana to her grandchildren Erin and Kelly Casey.

Sue is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Fred and Susan Judge, Jack and Rose Judge, Matt and Robin Judge, Kate and Hugh Spiers, Margorie Gorman, Robert Yeargin, Rodney Yeargin, Dean Yeargin, Vicki McCutcheon, Linda Chapman and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Joan Judge, Joe Judge, Patrick Judge.

Sue had been under care of the amazing team at the Residence at Silver Square, Dover, NH.

A private memorial gathering will be held later with a sendoff Sue would approve of and absolutely enjoy.
